Kansas Special Olympics helps individuals with intellectual disabilities develop greater physical fitness, health, nutrition, and leadership skills. These goals are achieved through a variety of year-round activities from Gardner to Spring Hill, and include initiatives for children and adults. This October 20th, join the community at the Abdallah Shrine Temple (5300 Metcalf Avenue, Shawnee Mission, KS) for a fun evening of fundraising for Kansas Special Olympics, and get your hands on KC sports memorabilia, such as:

Kansas Special Olympics Polar Plunge
Every winter, folks throughout Kansas come together to do the unthinkable by plunging into the ice-cold water. What motivates them to do it? It’s all for the Kansas Special Olympics Polar Bear Plunge, which helps raise money to provide resources for Kansans with intellectual disabilities. There are various polar plunges throughout Kansas.
